Dagmar was also the term given to the round protruding pieces on the front bumper bars of Cadillacs. After the protrusions on the front of the buxom actress Dagmar 1921-2001. The front bumpers on the early 50s Cadillac were referred to as "Dagmars" by the hotrod crowd
