The Yellow Cab and Yellow Coach companies merged with General Motors Corp in 1925, after which Yellow Truck and Coach company was the parent unit and General Motors Truck Corp, the manufacturing unit. This cap would have been after the 1925 merger.
SIZE: The cap has an outside diameter of just under 3 ¼” and is 1 7/8” high with 2 13/16”- 16 threads. It is 2 ½” across the flats.
