Thie cast brass cap has traces of nickel plating and has an outside diameter of 3 13/64" and is 1 1/4" high with 2 9/16"- 12 threads. It is 2 19/32" across the flats of the octagon.

My notes show this cap to be for a 1912 model but I am not positive of the application. SIZE: The cap has an outside diameter of 2 ¾” and is 1 7/8” high with 2 11/16”- 24 threads.

Moline started using a Knight engine in 1911 along with the conventional engine and by 1914 all of the cars had Knight engines which continued through 1919. In 1920 it continued in production under the new name of R&V Knight. This cap is from the 1904-13 era.
It is cast brass, 3” OD X 2” high with 2 11/16”-24 threads and is 2 5/8” across the flats.
