Hillman 1913 - 8.9 hp

Engine: Four cylinder, side valve, with a non-detachable head, rated at 8.9 horsepower. Engine No. 20. Capacity 1357 c.c. Thermo-siphon cooling without fan or pump. Solex side draught carburettor and Bosch magneto ignition.
Gearbox: Three speed selective sliding, gearbox mid mounted in the centre of the chassis with shaft drive to a worm wheel differential. Gate change gear shift, Leather-faced cone clutch.
Suspension: Semi-elliptic springs front and rear.
Brakes: Foot actuated external contracting drum at rear of gearbox. Hand lever operates internal expanding shoes in rear wheel drums.
Steering: Worm and sector.
Wheels: Sankey detachable steel wheel, 710 x 90.
Body: Roadster with body built by James Munro and Co. of Melbourne.
Lights: Acetylene head lights and paraffin side and tail lights.
Dimensions: Wheelbase 7ft 9 inches. Track 4ft 0 inches. Length 10ft 10 inches. Weight 12.5 cwt.
